Pan stands:
The stainless steel used in Smeg pan stands and burner caps is of the highest quality grade 18/10, however all stainless steel will tarnish on exposure to direct flame. The original appearance can be virtually restored with the use of appropriate cleansing agents, and alternatives are available in cast iron or enamel.
